Knickers for a lovely lady from Kyrgyzstan….

October 13, 2010

These are freshly created knickers, hot off the sewing machine this lovely, sunny autumnal afternoon. They are made from a light sage green t-shirt and azure/pink lace edge trim. The fabric is lovely and soft and has a great handfeel so they should be very comfortable. It took me just under two hours to cut and sew them…so I am getting faster! It is amazing that you can take an unwanted t-shirt and turn it into something as beautiful and unique as these handmade knickers…I love upcycling!
