Emma’s Bio

My name is Emma Kidd, I hand make super comfy, everyday underwear  from up-cycled fabric. I also create kits and lead workshops so that you can have a go at making your own!

As an International I have over 15 years experience in designing and making lingerie. Brands I have designed for include Collette Dinnigan, Pussy Glamore, Calvin Klein and Victoria Secrets. My designs have sold in Selfridges, Joseph, Browns, Coco de Mer, Marks and Spencers, and many more. However, I found the business models,  products and manufacturing incredibly unsustainable.

From my many years of experience I believes that the happy undies I create are also the most well designed, comfy styles around. (I hate buying pants from the high-street). There is no nasty elastic, so say goodbye to VPL’s!!! (Visible panty line)

I have developed this project, Emiliana, because I believe that everyone deserves to be loved and cared for, and so does our planet.

You can choose to buy ‘pot luck pants’ or to order your own unique bespoke knickers and camisoles, all handmade by me.  So you’ll never need to buy an unsustainable, unhappy, uncaring pair of knickers ever again!

By choosing happy pants like these you help to spread love and happiness to the world!

I am available for public speaking; lecturing; consulting on ethical, social & environmental projects; leading knicker making workshops; hen parties and freelance design & product development. Just drop me an email at

I also have a more philosophical blog that you may be interested in. It contains more of my photography and in-depth writings:

Thanks and much love,

Emma xxx
